When does the 2022 FIFA World Cup start?
The 2022 World Cup is being held in Qatar this year. The tournament runs through Dec. 18. It's the first winter World Cup in the history of the entire competition. 32 of the top national teams will compete across 64 matches.

Is the U.S. men's national soccer team still in the 2022 FIFA World Cup?
With their Nov. 29 victory over Iran, the U.S men's national soccer team will advance to the Round of 16 stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The U.S. will face off against the Netherlands on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PST.
